Thanks, all. I'm really enjoying it. Actually took it to Costco today. Parked pretty far though; didn't want any door dings.
Rich is coming over tuesday. He's right, my wife would have been very upset had he spoiled the surprise. She came to the gym while I was in a Spinning class and told me she had a flat and I needed to come out and change it. (She drives a Range Rover and a vette btw,) and I said, like, are you kidding? Why don't you call roadside assistance? She replies, 'cause she will be late for an appt and they can't be there for an hour. So, I'm not happy, obviously, but I get off the bike, throw on my sweatshirt and follow her into the garage. It's then I realize something is up, as her vette has runflats and no spare. So I say, wait a minute, you don't have a spare. She says, I'm driving the Rover today, which I thought was odd as the weather was nice. We walk into the garage and I don't see a Rover. I do see the Bentley and walk right by, when she turns and throws me the keyfob and says, Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas and Happy Bday. (My bday is in beginning of January should you guys/gals wish to buy me something also I gave her a big hug and kiss, jumped in, started it up, and roared out of the garage, leaving her standing there. I saw her car around the corner. I have to say in response to what I know to be lighthearted comments about having too much money, that if my wife has one fault, it's that she gives so much money to charity, the endless calls and letters we get from them drive me crazy. She supports every cause known to mankind. I say that because I know people think that way. Believe me, she's given the equivalent of this car and more this year alone. me |

Markey, it would appear you still have not made the mental adjustment to your newly found fortunes....still shopping at Costco and buying a used 14L MkI However, at least I see now that in principle you are very much like me.......a kept man. (I suppose your wife never told me about her extravagant spending habits during our numerous telecons because she perhaps wanted me to like her for who she was as a person. |

What's wrong with that woman. Does she think you're made of money?
Nice shot.

Alright...originally, I thought this was another in a long list of MDJAK leg pullings.
So...you got a Bentley. That is off the "WOW" charts, for real. Congratulations and drive it in good health, amigo! |
