Unhappy Hit by a truck

Figuritively speaking of course. I caught the 'cold' from hell. Don't know how many of you have had it, but it's a head, nose, chest, cough, achey horrible thing I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Worst part is, it's in the 70's here today and I would've loved to be out on a bike ride with my kids and husband. Hopefully it's a once a season type deal. I'm not one to complain about the common cold, but this one's a doosey. I've already had three sleepless nights. Ick. Thank heavens for NyQuil and Afrin. I feel like I'm living in a tissue factory!

Thanks. Yeah, I guess the title was a little deceiving... sorry about that! But I do feel like I've been hit by one. The hubby brought it home last week. He's finally almost over it. Just hope the kids aren't hit as hard. Luckily it's the weekend, so I've got some help with the boys.

I just popped in an Ellen Degeneres DVD and that's helping to make me laugh. She cracks me up.

If it was a man writing a thread about being ill (Man-Flu) he would be told to 'get a grip' and stop moaning

Hope you feel better soon Mum!

Well, that's what I'm here for. To keep a sensitive balance, lol.

Cheer up. It only lasts about three months or so... You should be over it by Easter.
