Very nice images. I'm surprised an archive thread isn't already in place. Make sure you send a PM to Mike (In2Photos) to get it added to the archive. He's pretty good at catching these, but he's not Superman.

Just got the lens for Christmas. Hope to be posting some pix soon.

Actually I went back and forth between the Canon EF-S 60mm and the Canon EF-100mm for months before deciding to ask Santa for the Sigma 70mm f/2.8!

Almost forgot! Very nice images. My macro interests lie mostly in flowers (wildflowers, in particular) as well. Not really into photographing bugs. At least not yet.

thats Great =) Post some pics when you can, oh and this lens works at its best with a tripod and good light (i use flash at full power pointed up at my ceiling in some photos)

hmmm you can buy more glass in the 17 50 or something like that range... you can buy a 24 70 L ( i'm not buyin cuz it's on cash back right now... and for some reason i think it will soon be replaced ) .

you can buy a studio for your girls... here's a good portfolio from a guy usin a 350D : http://rekit.deviantart.com/

or u can wait for 5DMK II , then sell all ur current gear for it. 2000 + 1200 (maybe ? ) gives u 3200 which may be enough for it ?
