Default '48 Chevy

Isn't this a great looking car? The owner got there too late to park in the main lot, so I didn't get a chance to talk with him. Sometimes these guys put lawn chairs in front of the cars & sit there, & sometimes they just park them & you never see them again all night.
(I'll work on the reflections this Winter)

300D, RAW, Manual everything.

Nice engine Frank, That guy does some pretty good work for an accountant.
PS, I've been meaning to say that it's nice to see that you drag your tripod along. (Reflection on rear of said 48 Chevy)

The pickup? Yes, he does! It's immaculate!

I saw that. More work for this Winter! I think I had one exposure that ran 6 sec.

I loved them! Almost got killed exiting one, too. Looked left instead of right & a bus zipped by right in front of my nose! (Driver said, "Cooooo!")

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

that can happen, especially coming from the states and didn't expect the big red bus (?) coming from that direction .
it's happened me the odd time in places where the traffic runs on the opposite side of the road to here
flies along so fast too

saying ' cooo' was probably all that the driver could do with the fright he must have got

glad you had the experience of the taxi cars and liked them
they are terrific

yes, I heard that Frank
I can understand it as they are so old
but it will be a shame to see them go as they are part of the whole scene.
(something will be sorted)

the taxi's nearly got the chop some while back, but instead they got a new lease of life

thank goodness for that
