Default Quasi Infrared

Experimenting with a quasi infrared effect. Before image processed entirely with Lightroom; after image extremely enhanced with CS2 & then tweaked again with Lightroom. Vignetting is intentional.

I know the first image needs more work.

C & C most welcome.

Interesting experiment. I like the first shot. I'm not so sure about the second one because it emphasizes the snowy mountains even more and reduces even further the perceived depth of the photograph.

Nice photo, hope you don't mind me playing. Here's a version using the infrared filter under the Black & White adjustment layer in Photoshop CS3, plus a little tweaking with the dodge tool.

I hadn't noticed the reduced depth of field. You are quite correct and I appreciate the comment.

Mike-DT6: No problem; I like the effect.
