Default Offroading on New Years Eve

Here are some shots of an offroad race that was ran on New Years Eve during the day.

Ditto on #3 and ditto on the "fake photo stack" border.

Is my border that bad? I kind of liked it. Most all of the better offroad photogs use some kind of border and I liked mine better than most. What would you guys suggest?

Stuff like this always reminds me of "Fear and Loathing"

Nice photo but I would get rid of that border.

take good photos and let them stand by themselves

they are all good and sharp, but the lighting in #1 and 2 isnt too great, #3+4 are much better
you seem to be shooting from the shadow side of the trucks - the other side of the road (assuming you could cross safely with the marshals permission) would probably have been better, or using flash (although you were probably too far for the flash to be effective

Thank you to everyone. I appreciate your feedback. Once the cheesy frame was pointed out here, I posted a question in the forum where I address the bulk of my customers. The vote on my frame is pretty even so far. I foresee a problem with a border on some of the prints. l

You seem to like the border and if so do your customers, then keep it. Personally, the big blue web address put me off. Makes them look like posters.

The jury is still out on the border. The web address on the pictures is a watermark on my web site. It is there to encourage people to buy the picture instead of printing it themselves. If they buy a print the watermark is not there.

Nice shots, I agree with the shooting from the other side. It's interesting how there are more of the desert photogs that have trickled over here from rdc.

I tried a few from the other side of the course but the little bit of breeze that we had was carrying the dust in that direction. I don't mind standing in the dust but it really fouls up the pictures. There were several of my shots that were unusable because of the dust.
