Anyone know the main difference between the Lenspen and Lenspen DigiKlear? I know one says its for camera lens and the other is for digital display. I have them both right now and they both look extactly the same to me, the material of the carbon pad looks slightly different.
Is it safe to use the DigiKlear on camera lens? It seems to be extactly the same material except for the shape of the pad. On the back of the DigiKlear box though, I noticed it says to not use it on polarized glass |

The Digiclear is designed to use on the polycarbonate over the LCD screens.

Yes its designed for use on screens, but I think thats only because of the shape of the pad. I took out both pens and the carbon ends look identical. Is the digiklear safe for lens? I don't clean my screens anyway, or just use a microfibre cloth for a wipe so if its safe, I'll start using it for my lens

My "digiclear" is triangular shaped and flat whereas my regular Lenspen is round and concave. the triangular shape makes it good for getting into corners of recessed surfaces.
I bought mine a couple of years ago and the material appears to be the same on each. The original packaging is long gone. BTW, I've used both on my lenses without any problems. |

I was wondering the same. I was in hurry and accidentally ordered DigiKlear version, but it seems that it's mostly for LCD screens and such. I would need it for my lenses and filters, so does it work same as original LensPen?

I'm unsure why LCD screens need such careful attention. I clean mine with the cuff of my shirt about once a year and thats it.
