Default directing models

I've been doing a few modeling shoots in a "time for pictures" kind of scenario. Because of this I have gotten some inexperienced models who run out of poses half way through the shoot and I don't know quite know how to direct them. Do any of you who shoot portraits have any tips for directing inexperienced models into poses?

Any help would be great!

There was a post awhile ago that covered this same issue (to tired to seach ATM). One great idea there was to start collecting pose ideas from magizines and put them in a photo album, when you need a pose open the album.

I never throw away a magazine without going back through it and cutting out a photo that gives me something; a new pose, lighting, concept idea... Right now I have them in folders, but eventually I'll get off my butt and put them in binders.
