Default Another Cuba Shot - Street Basket ball! Great scene

Had time to pp a cuba shot tonight from back in november!

It's the people of Cuba that make it such a colourful place. (hence the selective b+w shot )You could not pick a typical cuban they all look differente! Its so wonderful!

I like the color photo better. The colors in the building make it more interesting.

This is great... i love both images... agree with the buildings adding to the image but you gotta love that selective colouring. Well done.

I like both, Tob. Do prefer the color, but your capture is wonderful. The ball in the air, the worker walking home...really awesome, man. Thanks for sharing this.

I like them both. Like the B&W with color people. Makes the people pop out. Makes the story about the people, not the buildings.

I like this (have been to Cuba many times BTW) but more for the composition and balance of your shot. If the man in blue was not there, it would not have been as interesting. The light sliver at the very bottom is s bit distracting to me but what can you do.
Not a big fan of the colorization - to me the buildings give the kids context...its Cuba...its their environment. I sort of disagree with one of the comments below about the colour of the buildings - it is the absence of bright colours that add to this and don't clash with the people. This BTW is another reason why I don't see the need to make the buildings black and white.
It is a "whatever works for you" situation I guess

normally, i can't stand selective color. Yours i like and it works.
my recommendation is to only do selective color on the people playing basketball and to lighten up the basketball to make it stand out more.

nice job.

Yep, normally I detest selective coolouring, you seem to have found a way to make it look pretty decent. Good show!

Great pict loll. This is my Country, whit respect to the building color, the problem is that in 50 years, the People no have possibility ($) to buy Pint and other problems are the Govern that never, never in 50 year had repair the street and buildings, Havana, e hold City in Latin America are almost coming dow. So I feel so impressive each time that I see a picture from my country.
