I had the privilege of second shooting/assisting JJacula on this board this past saturday. I said I would hold gear, shine shoes, fetch coffee or whatever, but she pretty much left me alone... what a nice boss!
Anyhow, to sum it up... no photos allowed during ceremony except proc/recess/registry, the location they booked for photos absolutely sucked... and blew... at the same time. Nasty carpet, terrible layout, and the worst lighting possible. it was awesome. 1. ![]() 2. The dress was put in the TINIEST, cramped, messiest room ever FULL of junk!! No time to move it as she was waiting on us to get into it. ![]() 3. A couple candids of Ruth. Jenn described her as 'ridiculously good looking'. ![]() ![]() 4. Processional ![]() 5. Definitely a cowgirl... ![]() 6. ![]() 7. ![]()

Don't Hassle....

Nice shots; I'd hire you. Not a fan of the huge boot and I'd like less DOF on the dance shot, but good work overall.

Loving these Lloyd, but I'm digging #1 a lot for some reason.. the color is just so pretty. How did you PP that one? Also, do you always carry a lightstand for the strobes for every wedding?

Thanks for the comments guys!

That one is just a cross process effect done in Lightroom. Play around with white balance and toning and you can get some neat stuff. I like cross processing prep shots... it gives it a bit of a 'fashion' look.

Nice shots Lloyd. I like the processing of the first one. Thanks for keeping the exif intact. Nice bounce lighting. What was the lighting like in the last two? Off camera flashes?

The only bounced flash shots are in 3. And yes, off camera flashes on 4,5,6,7. 5,6,7 was a two light setup... one main and one for rim or background effects like in 5 where I used one to throw some interesting shadows onto the ceiling.

The last 3 are out of this world! Not a fan of the boot, but it's definitely something different and it, along with the awesome perspective, make the picture a truly unique shot.

Love the PP you did in #1 and would love to see a behind the scenes of #5 including light setup and how you were angled (I assume you were ground level) to take the shot

Lloyd....very good as usual! Like them all except the last...I just rarely get into the lens flare look, especially when it overpowers the subject. # 3 is fabulous!
