Default Siberian Husky

Two weeks ago I drove for 12 hours (one way) with my son from Delaware to the Georgia/Tennessee border to pick up his new puppy. On the way back there was a bad traffic accident that shut down the interstate so we got out and stretched our legs. Such a pretty dog. If they would have had two like that, I probably would have bought one too!

I absolutely love those dogs, they are so beautiful. When I get a house with a garden, I'll no doubt get some!

Congrats on your new arrival

Get some you say?? I hope you have read and understand the breed very well before you purchase some... And oh, I forgot to mention have lots of energy for them and a fenced in yard at least 5' high, preferably 6' if your going to have some... And they luv to dig... They don't do well alone and prefer to be with another dog or human all day... Leaving 2 Sibes alone all day is asking for trouble and fortunately my wife is home all day...

Sibes are escape artists and know every trick in the book... Mine scaled a 6.5' stockade fence once and only because the place where we bring her to play tried to crate her at rest time... She went into panic mode and up and over she went... Luckily there was another person picking up her dog and left the door to her van open.... My dog went inside the van and made herself at home... lol It could have been alot worse... Believe me, this breed is not for anyone, so please do your homework before you buy and just don't get one or some because their pretty, cuz he/she will only end up in a shelter or worse...

I am a sucker for puppies and especially Siberians. Dang they are cute but for every ounce of cuteness add a pound of energy. An extremely high energy dog. My girl is almost 12 and still acts 2 most days. Trust me, a they are always one step ahead of their owner. Life will NEVER be the same once you own one.
