What is a good program for burning photo cds that you can print from or view anywhere? I need something that looks professional when pulled up on a PC, able to be accessed on any PC because it is for my customers who purchase a CD of their wedding prints to print on their own.
Also, any software suggestions for making a photo dvd that you can't take photos off of to print on your own? I have just been using whatever is on my HP and am thinking there has to be something more professional! Thanks!

Are you talking about printing labels or putting files on the CD?

well, I am looking into getting a CD label printer. In this case though I am looking for a program to burn the photo files onto a cd that can be purchased by the couple.

yea, I want them to put the disk in and be able to open up their pics in a professional way- not have to go through their own computer's picture viewer...

can you copy photo files from that software? i don't want them to be able to do that from the DVD, only the CD.

Have a good look at Nero version 8. This is the standard burning software for quite a few who do music CD's and DVD's. The key in burning with this program is to use the very best discs you can get. It can be a little fussy about what brand it burns well....believe me. I've used version 7 for quite some time and have no problems at all. See if you can find the Taiyo Yuden brand discs. Those or Verbatim's are the best choice amongst the crowd into this stuff. If I'm not mistaken there is some form of password or other type of protection available to keep info private if you wish. Search their website to double check on that. Another option might be to look at Photodex's Pro Show Gold or the more expensive Producer version. This is a slideshow presention software that is quite good with the ability to add music in the background.

Just give them a disk of files, if you must then include a viewer in the autorun (PC only). Making a DVD or anything else they won't be high res files and won't print.
To print labels for the DVDs don't actually print labels. Get an Epson printer than can print directly onto coated DVDs and CDs, Canon's can do it but you have to hack it and buy a tray so Epson's are easier. That's a US only thing, copyright problem, Canon's overseas print onto CDs and come with the tray. If you want a nice case check out JewelBoxing - there are a few different vendors, make sure you get one that includes the paper to print on.
