Default CF Prices??

My my my have CF prices fallen the last year or so! Any one also sees this?
Also why are they going so low? Good for all of us who want more memory and don’t want to pay a lot. I for one like the price $88 for a one-gig card pro card. I want a 2gig card but I am waiting as I fell prices will fall lower in the next few months. I wonder what the 2GB cards will sell for in January?

It was announced some time ago that there was a glut of memory cards on the market and that the prices would tumble. They were right. How low they go is anyone's guess. I just snagged 2 SannDisk 1g cards on that $88 each deal. Sweet!

Buy.com recently had 2g Lexars for $147 after $40 rebate.

Yeah, they've dropped for sure. I just picked up a 1GB Lex 40x for $90 something.

Yes, when I was in the USA at the end of May / beginning of June, I bought a SanDisk Extreme 512 MB CF card for about $130. My brother, who lives in the USA, has just bought an Extreme 1 GB for about the same price as what I paid for my 512 MB card.....
