Default Tell me if I am being too picky

OK, just got my Tamron 28-75 back from repair. Too this shot at iso 200, f10, 1/4sec, at 47mm. Natural light from window only, using AWB setting.

I focused on the silver hat band bead. On tripod, using the timer so no shake possible.

Does it look in focus? When I blow up the bead as large as canon photostudio lets me it is not in focus.

Is it ok or not?

Thanks al lot!

It does look in focus but it's hard to tell on the small image. Can you post a 100% crop?

Not sure how exactly to do this with DPP but here is what I came up with.

You know what? I just printed this picture as a 4x6 and it is NOT in focus.

Crap!

I am going to take some more test shots tomorrow and see what I come up with.

Thanks.

OK all. Thanks for your input. I took more test shots and everything looks fine now. I will put it down to operator error, which is the most likely case anyway.

Will post some more shots soon.

Thanks again.

I'm guessing you using the centre point focus?
