Default A "Stroboframe" Makeshift Pano Attachment

The past few weeks I've unsuccessfully been trying to take this panorama to create a large print, and I've debated even buying a pano head just for this one panorama (I'm not a landscape shooting type of guy).

I was having some sort of crazy dream about an hour ago though when I woke up with what I thought was a "brilliant" idea to get the lens to rotate and shift about its nodal point. Granted, I'm going to have some framing issues (eg. chimp or live-view), but hopefully that's not a huge deal. I'm going to go try it out in a few hours, hopefully it works as I expect

For those of you who are Stroboframe "quick-flip" owners out there:

Looks great except for the double sided sticky tape on the bottom of the 5D! Tell me you didnt actually stick that stuff to the camera body and that its just on there for lack of any better padding....

The double sided sticky tape actually removes quite well without any residue at all. It's there because I'm super anal about my gear and when I mount it to a tripod, I don't want to rub the bottom of the camera. If I ever decide to sell my camera then, I just remove the tape, and voila! the bottom is clean and there's no scrapes there whatsoever.
