Well, after making my sig, I thought I'd go look for some other blunders and more so of those members that have been here awhile than new people who may just be getting their first camera or whatnot. While my search is ongoing, I will post the infamous LightRules thread and the new one from Perryge. If anyone finds any "DOH!" threads though feel free to add. Maybe what has been asked will happen, a stickie just for LR! :D

Post the DUMB things you've done under photography stress!

I linked the PW one to the page it happened. I looked for 4 pages then skipped to the end and went backwards a little. Totally missed it. Oops...

There are probably too many opportunities for the "Why can't I set my camera to RAW" "Are you in the Basic Zone" thread and the variants ("Can't upgrade firmware", "Can't set CFs") to include links.

Then there's the ever-popular "I just got this camera from someone else on here and it won't AF in M mode" "Try pressing the '*' button".

^Yeah, I didn't ask that but it happened to me.

And I've already ran across plenty of the RAW threads.

Oh yeah. There are all the people who can't reset EC because their Quick Dial isn't turned on (3rd position of the On/Off switch).

Or can't set EC because there in Manual mode..
and it takes another 8 posts of explanation to finally have the lightbulb turn on...

These are all mundane compared to the corkers in the first post though.
