Default Pelican Case sizing.

Ok, I need a Pelican case for traveling offshore with my camera(s).

I'd LIKE to fit:
30D
EF 70-200 (f/2.8L IS)
EFS 17-85 IS
10-20 (sigma)
batteries and CFs

Any idea what size would be appropriate? (non rolling would be better as this is on mostly racing sailboats where size/weight is a concern.)

I think a 1500 series would be good for you to start looking at.

The rolling one isn't much bigger, maybe by a inch more on the back. But the 1500 series will be more than enough for you with room to grow.

Those Pelican cases are really nice. I intend to get one someday. Just as soon as the wife finishes all her house remodeling projects.
