We occasionally get very localised tremors but i've personally never felt one. This one looks like it's been felt from 1 end of the country to the other.

Funny, we had one here on thursday. It was actually a large 6.0 in Neveda, but was registered in my area as a 4 something. It was the first time I have ever felt a quake, pretty cool feeling actually (when you know you are safe).

We felt it in Shropshire & a chimney fell down in the town (wonder if they will make a Hollywood film of it)!

We were up & sorting out our three year old who said monsters had shaken the house!
