Below are two photos I took with my now off-camera 580 EXII. The first was shot with an umbrella, the second bare. The first shot is going to be submitted to my local camera club's photo of the month contest.
Links provided in case embeds go funky. C&C welcome and appreciated! EDIT: Moved the images to Photobucket. All should be well now. 1. ![]() 2. ![]()

I see two red "Xs" and "Image One" won't link...
I can see "Image Two" as a link, however.

Should be fixed now. Cannot figure out why Picasa is being so stubborn about letting me share my images.

I like #1, especially with the string vibrating. It makes the shot more dramatic. However, the skin looks too blue on my monitor.
#2 is competently done, but the composition doesn't send me in paroxysms of giddiness. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Non-musicians wouldn't recognize a capo for what it is. The pick has seen a lot of action, judging from the wear. Maybe if you put a fresh one next to it, the contrast might be interesting. However, only another guitarist might notice. For some reason, I wish I could tell what song is on the sheet. |
