I have a subbie too ftw!

There are some nice parking lots around here with those bright lights. I'm tempted to go and try a few of my own.

My friend did this a while back, basically just used a tripod and parked the car in nice angles under or close to light.

To me, "underground parking garages" & "turn out nice" are diametrically opposed concepts? Ask some of the guys in Transportation who take them.

Now, if the floor was wet, that would be "Sweet".

haha, to be honest, I setup a shot on auto.

Then I go back, look at the results and check the settings it used, and set the camera to M. I then play with the settings until I get it just right. That is probably shot like 25-30 or so.

Hehe, but make sure you aren't shadowed in the picture, make sure the wheels are turned (usually)...

and get the ground wet. (=

Clarification: "diametrically opposed concepts" is based on most, not all, of what I see here. A few people get it right &, if I've left someone out, don't take it personally, so for the new "Garage guys", I've added some links to the "Tips" thread: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...7&postcount=40
