Just wondering if anyone has any ideas if Epson is planning on coming out with new models soon since they're offering a $150 rebate currently on the P3000?

I'm wondering the same. Epson's online stores are showing the P-5000 as out of stock in both US and Canada today. Not sure if they're just really popular or if they stopped producing them.

Would be nice to see a new model/upgrade as their 40/80GB capacities are rather small by today's standards.

After a little searching on the web, I found this reportexternal link of Epson upgrading to 80GB and 160GB models. Probably to be announced at Photokina 2008 this September.
