Default Very Odd Camera Malfunction.....

About 15 minutes ago I was taking some shots of my girlfriend when I went to change my shutter speed higher, I turned the dial to the right and the shutter number went down, I turned to the left the shutter went down, I was shooting in M mode and I held the AV button, turned the dial to the right and the aperture number went lower and to the left it went lower, I turned the camera off and then back on and nothing happened, I took out the batteries and the memory card and then put them back in and nothing. I turned off my battery grip and everything went back to normal, I turned the grip on and everything went out of wack again, off and on again and everything was fine. Now my camera and battery grip are both on and everything is fine............what could have caused this problem??

Sounds like the typical problem caused by a third party grip. Spin the main dial on the grip back and forth a bit, then turn it back on and see if the problem has went away.
