There metal shavings off of a lathe. My wife gathers all of the wood shavings out of my garage anytime I am working.

It looks like microscopic view of protozoa.

DigitalDawn,

Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what I'm going for. These are shavings from a machine shop. I think they're pretty cool but I haven't been able to work out how to incorporate them into an image that is satisfying. Do you have any suggestions?

Nice start try getting a larger pile of the stuff and try to fill the frame a bit more . It has potential I would try to be less contrived with the placement of the bits and pieces . You might wont to try a more neutral back ground good luck .
