Are there any issues with doing manual focus when AF is set to on. Just checking Thanks |

according to the canon Australia website the lens has full time mechanical focusing.
so yes it is ok. it should feel fairly smooth. whereas the kit lens has some resistance to manual focusing when it is set to Auto.. boucher.

Yip FTM focus on the 17-55.
Pays to have Cfn. 4 enabled to focus with the * though, otherwise everytime you hit the shutter, it refocusses.
