is it possible to transfer files from the epson to a CF card?
i.e., can you plug an empty CF card into the p3000 and download files? thanx, ed rader |

You know, I've had my P-2000 for over 2 years now and never even considered that. I just use it as an external hard drive when put cabled to the computer. Interesting.

thanx man..... we just got our travel package from national geoghraphic and the weight restrictions are pretty austere so i'm glad i ordered the p3000 last night. actually i accidentally ordered two of them but that's another story i may get a couple of 16-gig cards in case i have to move sorted through files from the epson. ed rader |

you said something the other day that led me to believe you were using your epson for storage. what i would do is download the contents of the epson to one of my hard drives when i got home. i really don't see the epson having a long term future with me unless it does something that my laptop can't. obviously for this trip that is the case but normally i would use my laptop. ed rader |

You can even transfer to a usb drive (powered). Makes transferring of images to friends easily.
