Default UK Photography Magazines

Hi All,
Just wondering which, if any, UK photography magazines you guys read on a regular basis.

Thanks!

I take two: "Digital Camera" @ £3.99 and "Digital Photo" @ £4.99.
Both include a CD with every issue, each with about 100 minutes of PS tutorial videos.
The better of the two? Probably "Digital Photo" their tutorials, to me at over seventy, are easier to understand

I subscribe to Photography Monthly which is a UK based mag, and often pick up Digital Photographer or Practical Photography when I'm killing time at airports etc.

I currently get Photography Monthly & Practical Photography, although i'm going to cancel the subscriptions when they are due for renewal shortly - too many articles on how to photoshop in a sky or generally PS the hell out of an image for my liking - IMO both mags seem to have 'lost the way' with real photography these days.

Maybe I'm getting old...

Every single one, and every month I tell myself I won't buy anymore. Is there a Photographers Magazine Anonymous?

i can't agree more. i hate photography mags which focus just way too much on "Photoshop Tips", if i had wanted that i would hv gotten Photoshop mags instead. but generally there isnt much for them to cover other than the standard 'How To' articles. subjects like creative control using aperture/shutterspeed/DOF have already been covered to death ad nauseum! so you're getting the same rehash month after month - How Tos, photorapher profiles and equipment reviews.

They have always been a 'sponsor' for Nikon, but yes, lately it's been a bit more obvious!

thanks for the info guys, the question arose out of having some tesco clubcard vouchers to spend,
£16.22 of clubcard deals will get a year subscription to Digital Photo Magazine
£12.03 will get a year of Practical Photography magazine

I too seem to buy quite a few of them, I think i will just buy a few for the next few months before settling on one, though the Canon Photo Plus magazine seems most suitable for a newbie with a 40D like me.

Thanks again.

Practical among others. The UK ones destroy the US ones and I curse every time I drop $15 on one but they are filled with great shots, great tips and good tutorials.

I'm not sure if you already know this, but they are offering a Lowepro Mini Trekker for 12 or 18 months subscription. Might as well check it out.
