Is this a unit or are we uniting ???

That is great that you took a deaf girl from a rescue! Kudos... Maggie (above) came from the SPCA a few months ago.

She is a character, for sure! On the weekends when my wife and I get up separately, she will go sit by her food dish for each one of us as we get up... even if I feed her first she acts just like I didn't. If we get up together, she knows we saw the other one feeding her so she doesn't try her trick... too clever!

The all white coat on Snow is just gorgeous. Too bad it comes with the deafness :( She looks extremely happy with her new home!

Mags is actually a miniature...

Well it could be worse, at least shes not blind too. I think shes not as deaf as she makes out to be.. she can hear what she wants or so it seems (she feels vibrations...even a hand clap or whistle if shes close by) And it means we can vaccume around her with no problems and shes a sound sleeper so shes not barking at every liitle noise!

Does Mags howl? She looks like she might from that one photo (the one with the stick). Charlie will if encouraged by harmonica or husband  (he's a biologist and tells me this is good pack behavior--not sure the neighbors agree!) and Katie does from fire engines at the right distance/pitch.

She sure does. This is the first day I met her -- I took her on a walk on the streets around the SPCA (shot with Panasonic p/s)

I'm jealous of all the great action shots posted so far. We haven't had much decent sun yet but we will get outside for some soon.
