Default Summer Rugby

Kyle Briggs of Doncaster Battles not only two London Skolars defenders but the blizzard conditions in last nights opening round of Games in The Co-operative National League 2, & they now call Rugby League a summer game. I don't think i have ever been as cold shooting a game as i was last night,

Shot Details:
Model = Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Sigma 120-300 f2.8
Exposure Time = 1/640"
F Number = F3.5
Exposure Program = Manual
ISO Speed Ratings = 2000
Focal Length = 300mm

Ho yes & the result.
Doncaster 56-0 London Skolars

Best wishes & a Happy Easter to everyone.
Steve.

Very nice capture! The first time I went to B+H with my cousin and I did not know anything about photography I saw some lowepro Photo gloves and thought they were the most pointless thing in the world. Last week I went out to shoot and regretted not picking up a pair when my hands were so cold they felt like they were going to fall off! lol

Nice work Steve, just wondering though, why ISO 2000 yet only shooting at f/3.5

i struggled at Batley last night with ISO 3200 and 1 full stop underexposed to get a ss of 320-400

great lights m8 u need to tell them to put a shilling in the meter Gaz i have wondered with the improved ISO performance of the new cameras does it make the 300 f4 a viable option for use under the lights now ? an affordable prime maybe i would be interested in peoples thoughts.
