Spent a very cold windy day at Manby in Lincolnshire on Saturday, we had rain, snow, sleet, hail, wind and a bit of sunshine which gave me perfect conditions to test my new acquisition (Yes I've bought a Sigma 120-300) I used it all day yesterday and was very happy with the results using it on the 1D MKIII that was until the shutter packed in yet again on the MKIII so it will be winging its way back to Canon next week to have it sorted again.
On to the photos, we had a pretty action packed day as some of the photos show 1. ![]() 2. ![]() 3. All the shots from the accident joined together, give it time to load ![]() 4. ![]() 5. ![]() 6. ![]() 7. ![]() 8. and last but not least a tasty V8 BMW which sounded beautiful ![]() All comments welcome and by the way all the crew members "walked away" with only their pride and maybe their wallets damaged. Cheers Ian |

Congratulations on the new purchase Ian. Resistance is futile etc
That's a cracking set of shots with a distinct BMW flavour. Sorry to hear about the MK3 though. By the way, what sort on nut uses an M3 on a rally?

Blimey Ian - cracking set of shots. Please you're happy with the 120-300, but sorry to hear about the shutter in your mk III.
Simon. |

That looks like one hell of an event. Excellent shots as always Ian, particularly like the flying BMW (no.50).

Holy sh*t ... thats what you call being in the right place at the right time. Great captures Ian
Sorry to hear your having MKIII probelms again ... I think I'd be pushing for a replacement rather than another repair. Saying that, my MKIII doesnt have a video mode You out on the North Humberside? |
