i was trying to load the latest 5dii firmware today and when I click on the download link on the canon site i just get a blank white page with no indication of error.
tried this from a mac and pc and from various browsers on both all with the same result.
any insight? anyone else facing the same blank white page when attempting the download?

5D2 has new firmware on the way... 2.1.1.

It is on the Canon website, but you can not download it yet. No word of the features/fixes yet either.

jaskel and Invertalon, thanks for your replies.
I was trying to download 2.1.1 yesterday and it was resolving to blank page (no file transaction, nothing in downloads, no javascript errors, etc.). Today, on a PC running IE it's returning 404 errors (but still just blank white page with other OSes/browsers), so it would appear---as Invertalon states---the 2.1.1 firmware is locked, but not loaded.

Sorry KeyFrame.... no the firmware link don't work, but the change history is at that link. I'm just about to see if continuous shooting works (with 2.0.9) And try an AEB set.

edit: just tried the continuous and AEB (under continuous) both Av and Tv.... no probs here... phenomena seems to be a way of saying "we ain't sure, but...."
