I'm relatively new to the area and I was wondering... Where is the best place, accessible to the public, to take landing/take-off pics at BDL?

There is a parking lot on the south end of Runway 6 along Route 20 but it is tough to shoot here because of a fence. Across the road on Walnut Dr. there is a field that people park in. I've never had a problem here, a couple times a CT State Trooper pulled up next to me, popped his trunk and pulled a camera out and began shooting. Other than those two locations, you will have an issue with the CSP, and very quickly.
