Default Portable power pack to power Norman heads?

Does anyone know of a portable power pack that will power norman heads, which I might add have a 2000w/s rating on them.

One of the company i sub contract for have used the vegabond 1's with white lightning x3200. You don't get many shots out of it just to let you know.... Don't think this comment helps much but that is the highest i've seent 1320 w/s.

Thanks for the heads up. I was leaning in this direction too. I will probably run them at about 1000w/s so I should be fine. I am going to make a decision soon on this. Are there any "ill effects" to my lights running them off of a portable power pack like this?....will I shorten the life of the light?

Hi Rob,

Have a look at http://www.innovatronix.com/

From the reviews I have read that is the best value for money and a lot better than all the Vagabond series units as the Innovatronix has a much shorter recycle time.

Note I have never used a portable battery to power strobes but have been reading reviews / researching portable power units for strobes and if I were to buy one today it would definitely be the Tronix Explorer XT based on the reviews I have read so far.

Best regards,

Anton
