Okie Dokie ppl. Here is the thread for POTN Meet X. I guess i'm taking charge of the logistics for this little shindig.

Darren mentioned that these two next weekend would be good for him. Since he is leaving on May 13th and moving back to the mainland, we could do this as a Aloha Darren kinda thing. Upcoming weekends are: April 19th/20th and 26th/27th. I hope people are free then. It would probably be best for me if we did something this weekend. I know it's such short notice.


Please reply if you would be able to attend.
Also please reply with some ideas as to what we can shoot.

Following Items will be needed.

• Tarp Tent
• Sand/Dirt pegs for tarp tent
• Mesh screen for blocking wind
• Grill for food
• Charcoal and Match light for grill
• BYOMeat/BYOCooler/HideYOB (Got this one from Kyler)
• Possibly a table or two

Thanks for starting the thread! I have a 10x10 canopy with weights to hold them down and 2 tables. I'm working on Saturday, so Sunday would be better for me. I have a BBQ kit with all the utensils. Where we going? Kailua?

Sunday would be even better. I wont have to call in "sick" to work...

Nate was talking about bringing kayaks, so hopefully he can make it. It's already Monday so you must select a location very soon. Kailua is very crowded and parking may become a problem if you arrive too late. The thing with a BBQ meet is that you won't shoot too much because you'll enjoy the food and sun too much.

I dont mind doing a joint get together. But mine was for a Sunday. I cant make it to the 19th or 26. =(

Have you guys ever done a meet at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Park before? I'm not sure what the rules are concerning outdoor BBQs and tents but I know the park usually isn't very crowded. Not sure what kind of photo-ops it would have but it is a botanical park with a reservoir.
