Default Tripods

I noticed someone here recommended BH to buy accessories online. Could someone please recommend a low priced tripod for my A75.

There are a few Silk brand tripods in the $30-60 range that are fantastic.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what's BH? I'm interested in purchasing a good tripod for my SD300, and would like to check out any online stores that are recommended.

60" tripod for $29.99 - it's worked well for me so far.

I went with Jethros advice and got the Slik SDV-30 from B&H Photo. I'm quite happy with it, but keep in mind I'm just a begginer. It seems to work just fine with a small camera like my A75.

As far as dealing with B&H, I highly recommend them. I went to my local camera shop and looked at the tripods. The SDV-30 went for $50 plus tax. I got mine from B&H for $33 including shipping and handling, plus they included a nice cloth Slik carrying bag that will hold the tripod with camera attached. I ordered it on Mon. and it was on my doorstep on Fri.

I just bought a cheapie tripod from ebay... cost nme $25 bucks to my door!! Watch out tho.. I bid on the tripod just before discovering that what i REALLY wanted was a 3-way pannable head... pity mine is only 2 way... BUT there were a few 3-way pannable tripods for around the same price.. I was just a little too eager
