Oh, & sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc. You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

Guys, need your advice.
What kind of magnets better to use for undercar attachment? How many lbs power i need for 4-5 meters long aluminium pole (5cm diameter) + camera (nikon d40/d90)? Now I use pole for painting brush (3m it's soooooooooo flexible) with suction cup, but want to take another angle of view. |

Before anything, clean your glass/sensor!

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with this RS Cosworth, it's extremely rare around here, especially in condition like this, it was real fun to shoot it. And these two shots are the first ones making me feel it was worth to build my rig

As crazy as it sounds, it took me 1 hour to stage all the shots I wanted, then roughly around 6 hours of processing time to put everything together. Although there is some flaws I noticed, I'm still quite pleased that I only had 1 hour to get the shots for this image creation

On a positive note your getting next to no blur or shake from an unsteady rig, so good job on the build! |

Agreed, being that this is a diy thread, some bts info would be nice aside from just how long it took you to produce.

Thanks guys! Well, the blown out backgroud is my personal preference, just like you said TWOLITREmedia. But the distortion is not an option sadly, I couldn't make a longer rig steady enough, so I have to use my fisheye for the rig-shots...I read through this topic a lot of time, but I just couldn't get everything right about the boom, I have 6 meters of pole in the basement, but I couldn't go over 3 meters and still shoot steady shots. If any of you have a decent, detailed step-by-step about the boom, with photos about every inch of it, I'd be thankful to see it, because I also want to get some non-distorted shots.
