Default Gary "Southern Pride" Bergeron 2nd session

This is my second session with a friend of mine. The Here's the first in case you missed it.

So, i've been wanting and trying to experiment with different processing techniques. I usually do really vivid colors or B&W...nothing in between. I also just played around on a couple too...don't ask me to repeat it....lol

These are shot at the Battle of New Orleans Chalmette battefield.

Here's my experimenting with de-saturations (also did a little filter play..i know i know...filters suck...lol)

4 (did a lot of curves experimenting with this one)

I totally faked the sky on these next 2. Looked too white and dull. The day was very overcast and flat.

Ok, sorry so many...These were the best of the bunch that i processed.

Thanks for looking!

ahh..forgot this one...

We shot at this location because it is a well known spot in our hometown and in the background here you can see an old Aluminum plant - Kaiser Aluminum which St. Bernard used to be well known for.

I like the color ones. Show off the color don't mute them, make the tatts more interesting.
BTW...He looks like a friendly guy!

yeah, i was trying to figure a way to make everything but him look a bit de-sat without looking like it was selective coloring.

Actually, out of the ring he's one of the nicest most outgoing friendly people you'll meet. In the ring, he's a 145lb ball of tatoo'ed fury...lol. First time i saw him fight I thought it was a different person.

I like #4. It's the only one convincingly menacing to me. The rest make me chuckle a bit.

I love the PP in all of them! We need to get together and show each other some PS techniques and tricks I think I'm just recently getting into the desaturated look and it's fabulously dirty, in a good way The PP suites him well!

I'm not that familiar with Chalmette, but where is that tomb I wanna play there

That is actually some sort of Monument at the Chalmette Battlefield where th e Battle of New Orleans took place. the whole field where each side stood it's ground is marked off. There is a trail around it all with stations displaying how we won the field. On the other side of the field is a national Cemetery where all the old soldiers were buried. many unmarked graves. I'll have to get some shots of that one day.
