Default Deer and birds at Richmond Park (UK)

To test out my new EF400 f/2.8 I decided a walk in Richmond Park with the family would be good yesterday.
I couldn't believe how sharp the lens was, although damn heavy! I now need a new tripod, after the hinges are already giving up after 2 hours on my old one!

#1 Deer

#2 Deer

#3 Some Goslings were making lots of noise around one of the ponds, so I moved in as quietly as I could.

#4 Only for them to openly come towards us as I stepped away.

#5 Down to the pond

#6 Taking off

#7 Gracefull (but damn moody!)

#8 More deer

C&C appreciated.

#4 and #5 are terrific. Did you see any kestrels? I'm trying to find where they are in the park.

thanks AdamJL, I saw some Parakeets, but no Kestrels, I'd love to try and shoot some, although that lens is pretty heavy to be tracking them!

I don't know why the image aren't working? I recently shifted hosting, and this is the first time I have posted images directly from it.
