certainly. however, i think you'll be looking for a very long time for even a 14.5mm rectilinear f/2.8... and when you find it, it won't be $600.

I know

So I'll just have to suck it up and use it on the Mk IV.

I love this lens. I'd say I used it 75% of the time in Paris and London (with my 50 and 85 getting the rest of the work), and it's also the lens that's usually mounted on my camera for any spot work I do aorund town.

The last time I looked B&H and Adorama were out of stock on these with an unknown listed as an instock date.

I just picked up my copy from Competitive Camera in Dallas. They have them and I asked - they do mail order. They are very prompt in answering e-mails. If you need this lens and cant find one, this is a good vendor. (and no, I do not work there and have not been paid to say this. Just trying to be helpful.)

These are among the best shots ever I've seen from tokina 11-16.
Congrats!

Great pictures all. I'm so excited to try this lens out. Going to Italy in a couple days so I'll report back hopefully soon with some snaps.

FYI, I purchased mine from B&H a couple weeks ago for around $600. Very impressed with the build quality but I am a little nervous about protecting the frontal element (I don't like using filters because of flare and maintaining good image quality) given the hood is so shallow. Just trying to be vigilant on using the lens cap.
