Default Aftermath of Arsonists

The Florida cities of Palm Bay and Malabar have had to deal with the work of arsonists this week. The good news is that a suspect has been arrested, and it seems like the wildfires are beginning to be controlled. The bad news is that the land & environment has been scorched, and homes and personal property have been destroyed........

Schorched Earth

Destroyed Property

Nice set of photographs. I like the post processing on these, particulary with the last one.

Nice PJ work, Ira. Who and why would someone do such a monsterous thing?

It’s hard to understand what motivates these people, but the results can cause so much grief for other citizens. In this case, thousands of acres burned, 20 homes totally destroyed, and 100+ homes damaged.

The question would be did they really mean to burn houses? I think sometimes the fools just wanna start a "small" grass fire, or something a long those lines. and then it get way out of control. Either way the need to be delt with, quickly and harshly. Make it hit the papers to show others this is not ajoke.

The danger it puts fire fighter in is incredible. I am glad we seldom get things this big here in Michigan.
