Default Bodybuilder shot

Hey all,

had a chance to work with a bodybuilder who wanted to exemplify his abs. I tried to create a darker mood to it. I have posted 2. What one do you guys like better and why?

Unfortunately I'm not sure how exactly to create a "darker mood", but I don't get that feeling from the first one. It just looks under-exposed. I like the second one more.

I think the second one is better. Contrast, harsh shadows, and bright outline make for good muscle lighting. Fitness section on 'men's health' website has got some good studio pictures with good lighting ideas.

Well first off, I would like to see his face lol... Just to see if his face is as steamy as his body LOL.. To answer your ? I like #2 better than 1... It is brighter, but not in a mood sense.
