Default More Heavy Lifting in Chicago (Caution 4 Images)

These should help explain some of the questions posed by my previous post. This was a HUGE fire and thankfully no one was killed. 3,000 people in the building at peak (around 800 at time of fire) and 36 injuries, mostly Chicago Firefighters.

Those are excellent!
I would straighten out the last one to make it truly magnificent.
Great work.

See the building in the last picture to the right of the bank? The one the flag is covering part of? That's where I worked last year! lol

TQ. I think most if not nearly the entire collection of great photographs survived. I remember a news report last week. Have a tough time believing that there were none on the fire floors though.

Fantastic shots, That is one heck of a lot of heavy gear they have to carry, it's a wonder they can even move never mind fight a fire, My hat is off to any and all firefighters. The "Every Day Heros"
