Hi all,
I have recently bought a Canon eos 20d, and a 10-22 lens. My intention is to take bodyboarding photos, as I have got a water proof housing (www.delmarhousings.com) What I was wondering was what setting will be best for this purpose? I have been advised to leave it on auto to start with, and it will shoot in AI . Basically, all I want is to ensure all the photo is crisp, and in full focus, so to make the most of the equipment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Martin. Also, check out the bodyboard video I am making, link to trailer here... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WdCxww-R704 |

Hi Martin,,,for starters I'd begin shooting in TV Mode which will do for most situations..Try setting your shutterspeed at around 1/1000th sec,,,select your ISO to suit the weather etc so you can comfortably get 1/1000th sec with a reqasonably small aperture,,,around F/8 is good..
What you might notice is the portions of the image nearer the camera may have some subject movement while portions that are further back will be sharp..This often happens when shooting sport with an ultra wide angle lens..
