Default Bare Minimum to Provide with Sitting Fee

Hi all,

With a typical sitting fee around $50 for 1-1.5 hrs of work, what is your interpretation of what services that provides?

My approach was to :

(1) Shoot alot , filter out 20-24 workable photographs

(2) Provide a low-res 4x6 set of prints with watermarked (c) and name

(3) Suggest which prints to be worked with further "artistic" touches, and provide non-watermarked prints , but with (c) year/ name on the back.

Do we have to provide the prints due to the $50 fee? ie) does some form of product have to change hands? Could this have been a 72dpi low-res digital image with watermarks, which forces them back to me for usable prints?

Thanks for the feedback,

I do online proofing. If they want proofs they can hold in their hand, I charge extra. You'd have to charge more than $50 to make it worth your while to print out those proofs and your time.

I just keep it simple.

Sitting fee
Online Proofs
List of prints and prices

No special deals or anything.... I would rather that, than to complicate things...

Thanks for the feedback.

Until I have a working website to do online proofing, I'll bring them into my home-office to show them on the big screen.
