Default Exif Data

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I wonder if someone can help me.

Is there any way of finding out the exif data on some of the wonderful photo's that people have posted on here? I know that there are some exif programs (Opanda etc) that provide exif data for the photo's I have taken, but is there anyway it can be used to get that info from photo's I havent taken, and if so how do I do it??

Thanks everyone

its not only for photos you have taken. the same is for photos others have taken, so long as they have not deleted the info. i might be doing wrong but download pics to get the info. yes i delete them afterwards. I dont like using addins to my browser.

EXIF viewer - Opanda (free) Windows/IE/Firefox,
http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html

Just right-click on the image & select "View image EXIF data". Some images don't include it, though.

I've been trying this PhotosGuy, but I never get a message allowing me to view exif, just the usual list of theing you get when you r click - save picture as, copy, add bookmark, properties etc. I have looked in properties, but there's noting about exif there either.

I have two new icons on my desktop - Opanda Powerexif, and Opanda IExif, but I cant see anywhere in either of them that lets me get info on other peoples photo's either.

Do I have to download them onto my computer first?

Sorry for the daft questions.

EDIT - not point me downloading them. I have just tried on a couple of photo's and when I r click dont see exif data. Tried via properties on it and all the camera settings came up as N/A.

if it comes up N/A then they have not been saved. Its not often that people save the data ie. they delete it by Saving for web.

A good add-on for Firefox is 'Fxif' which you can download here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5673

Once installed you can right-click on an image and select 'Properties' and it will show the exif info if it has been included.

Did you double click on them to install? (I don't remember if you have to do that.)

You have to select "View image EXIF data" in the Rt-click menu.

These all have EXIF in them:

Wow! Now that IS handy!
Until now I have always downloaded the photo and opened it with Irfanview and opened the "Information" to review it before.
THANKS!
