Default Can you teach me best way

a lot of your photos you post here look in good resolution despite being reduced to fit the forum requirments.

of contribution do not look as good despite that they look much better on my PC.

It may be the technique then I use. what I do is right click on a photo file and send it by email to get the system reduce it for me automatically then save a copy of it on my desktop to post on the forum.

any recommendations other than above to reduce the photo to max 150K and still keeping enough details to show on the forum.

thanks

You might want to investigate photo hosting sites, where you'll be able to bypass the 150Kb limit (150Kb for attachments, no kb limit for linked images)

Read here. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=290249

i send mine to a free photobucket site (www.photobucket.com)

and set it to auto reduce them to 800pixels max per side.

once they are there you just click on a link and you paste that to your written post and bang there goes a nice, well reproduced 800x533 image which is between 200-500kb

hope this helps
