Okay ...
I've installed all the drivers for the Wacom Bamboo and when it's plugged in all it does is flash (quite slowly) It works so well on my laptop I love it I phoned Wacom and they said maybe it's not getting enough power from the USB ... so I've tried them all now and none work :S I run external hard drivs and stuff off the USB's and they all work fine :S ? Any ideas

That should be fine. I have used a variety of name brand and knock off USB products and the biggest difference is how long they last. If you aren't going to be plugging and unplugging your tablet all of the time then a cheap one should be fine.

That triple "du du du" usually means there's an error with the device setup. Have you tried uninstalling the software (and drivers) if there is any and reinstalling it? Does the tablet show up in the hardware manager?
