1dsMk3
![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() **EDIT BY CDS*** We have a growing number of *Fan clubs revolving around specific bodies. I thought I'd make a collection of them, so we can find them and keep them organized (merge in new ones etc) Feel free to point us to other models or threads that could be merged. * WARNING: By posting in this or any of the linked threads you are wholly admitting in no uncertain terms that you are a snot nosed, milk drinking, knee biting, curtain climbing unabashed Canon Fanboy who's opinions must be taken with several large grains of kosher salt.

Ian, that's a pretty incredible shot - particularly since I know it's web-ized!

Wait, all that time and all I get is "Cream of the Damn Crop" ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Kind of a bummer that the two bodies got lumped togehter in this thread,
We have a running 1D mkIII thread already,. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=333015 Anyone mind if I move the 1D images to that thread and rename this 1Ds thread? |

Nag..Nag...Nag
But just because of that nagging, ya gotta do me a favor, tell me what I'm doing wrong here. 100% crop, 1/80 @ f/13, ISO 800, 300mm f/2.8---it doesn't have that... vibrant, crispy appearance that the rest of you guys cough out. I assume the noise is due to the crop, right/wrong? Crop and full size for comparison. Oh...please disregard the dock trash. . |

Won't argue about exposure, but I used a tripod (without remote).
What SS would have been appropriate in a situation like this? |
