Default Intigrated Mini Support System

Hi All,
OK,OK, I could only keep quiet for a short time so here goes.

A number posts on the other forum have asked about "mini" (that's what I call not a full blown tripod or monopod) supports e.g. table top tripods etc.

Here's what I have used for a number of years. It is compact and VERY versitile. I have used it with my full size 35's and even (though not recommended) with my 120/220 MF stuff in a pinch.

All components are Bogen/Manfrotto and the prices are B&H

Here goes.

First
A P/N 3008 Table top tripod w/ Mini Ball Head. $33.95.
This includes a P/N 3007 Table Top Tripod & P/N 3009 Mini Ball Head.

Second
Table Top Tripod Extension P/N 3007X $19.00 (A real rip off but we gotta have it).
The table top tripod is REALLY flat but EXTREMELY stable and the extension is variable from 6" to 10"

Third
A P/N 3292 Car Window Pod $22.50.
Perfect for mounting the G1/Pro90 on your car window. This requires a ball head- but you have already have that. Right?

Fourth
A P/N 2900 Super Clamp w/standard stud (reversable 1/4" and 3/8") $24.95
Clamps on tables, pipes, poles etc. etc.--it is a SUPER CLAMP.
Will also require a ball head and maybe an extension but we already have that!

Fifth-OPTIONAL
A 2896HD Heavy Duty Flex Arm (about 20" or so) for the Super Clamp (for just the G1/Pro90 you probably do not need the HD version and could save $6 by getting the non HD version) $22.95.

All threads are the standard pro 3/8" with, of course, the standard 1/4-20 on top of the ball head.

For about $100 you have a super "system" and very-very compact and typical Bogen/Manfrotto pro quality (it ain't gonna break). It all fits (not the HD Flex Arm) nicely into my Canon B&H special $30.00 bag with G1, Flash, Lens Adapter, Spare Battery, Car Charger, Filters, etc., etc.

Regards,
Dick S, Temecula, CA
