I have one but have yet to get a single shot that I consider even partially acceptable. It's not the lens as I've seen great shots from them but damn are they hard to use.

Can anyone post any picture with it used, don't matter good or bad. I'm just wondering what that thing can do, and is it worth getting.

Here you go but don't judge the lens too much by my bad use of it.

As shot, no PP using the approximate f/8 ring.

I find it hard to use on my XTI because of the small view finder but it is a fun lens to have.

I'd never get rid of it and don't regret buying it, I just need some time to play with it more.

AngriCorgi, 2 or 3G? I'm guessing 3G because your subject is so well centered on the first picture. I've got both but can't get enthusiastic about the 3G. Your picture may have sparked my enthusiasm again.

Hank, my best (I use that term loosely) are close-up abstacts. Especially flowers/insects. I struggle to get other pictures I'm happy with.

Excuse my ignorance but can't the effect I see on all these examples be done in pp'ing?
