Red face Location Sales Set-up

I am fairly new to the forum and do not visit very often. (i.e., once per week). However, I am looking for some advice. We are running a fairly new/rapidly growing sports team photography business. We have grown to over 2500 kids within about 6 months just from word of mouth. Now that we have created a growing audience and people are contacting us to photograph their teams, we are beginning to get requests to cover events. I have had to turn down some of the requests because they want us to be able to download, present, and sell images on site before the athletes/parents leave. Some of the events that are pursuing us are about 100-200 kids (this is possible with a couple of inkjets and basic programs) up to events of over 2000 kids. I have reluctantly strayed away from these so we keep our customers happy and not set ourselves up to fail.

Problem:
I believe we need a single program to handle such work flow, 3+ monitors to present, and a few good inkjets to print the final product. We have the cameras (3 20d's, 1 10d, and a d60). We need something that will batch full res files to thumbnails with uninterupted viewing for the customers as the event progresses, printers to efficiently handle the work load, and something that will successfully tie the thumbnails to the originals to stage for print at various sizes.

Need:
Feedback on printers/types of printers/number of printers anyone thinks we may need.
Feedback on potential programs to look into purchasing that will handle this. (I have contacted Kodak, Disney World, Express Digital and either did not like the program, excessive price, or something about each. I have also seen a few franchises that have been in excess of 20,000us dollars.)
Any feedback on what I may be missing on doing a bang up presentation of action shots on the fly for same day sales during the event.
What liability do I have making event or action photos available for viewing in a gallery without a password that is available to the general public? Right now I password protect about everything.

What is already in place:
www.go2dg.com
I already have the capacity to sell files on the web, these current customers want photos sold at the event right now. The site is simple, but advancing.

Thanks ahead for your feedback and you can also contact me at my e-mail danny@go2dg.com for feedback also.
